The winner of the Gem's 2008 Ferris Entertainment Scholarship is heading for Cannes in May after being chosen for her first film role.
Jemma Birkett who was 13 when she won the scholarship is to play the role of Katie in the flm "Displacement" directed by Gareth Griffiths, which is due to be shown at Cannes.
A second film "Delusions" written by Fionna Johnson is also being made by Ferris Entertainment for the festival.
We are working constantly on all aspects of film production with our actors to give them the best possible experience of the film and TV industry.
