Audition Technique for Commercials, Film and Television 3 Day Intensive Course

You may be the greatest actor in the world but if you can’t sell yourself you will never get the opportunity to show your talent.

The Film Industry Funding Body Skillset has identified a lack of training, understanding and knowledge of audition technique as a major disadvantage for UK trained actors.

This course is designed to give you a greater understanding of the complete auditioning process, from the moment you meet the receptionist and are handed the audition forms to the moment you leave the casting.

Working on camera throughout the three days, you will experience the various styles of audition you may eventually attend, from

* initial meetings

* to improvisation

* to individual script work

* to auditioning with other actors.

You will be made aware of

* what casting directors are looking for during auditions

and

* what directors are looking for during auditions

You will learn

* how to talk to a casting director or director

and

* how to adapt your CV and your life experience in order to make you more appealing and of interest to them and therefore to then make them focus upon your performance.

This course has been designed for professional actors and students interested in joining the profession.

You can be guaranteed you will never audition the same way again!
