About Peter Ferris

Peter trained for three years at the Italia Conti Academy of performing Arts in London where, in his third year, he became head boy of the academy and received his teaching diploma becoming an Associate of the London Academy of Dramatic Art.  He maintains very close links with the Academy, where he taught from 1988 - 1995.

Peter’s acting career has included television roles in Heartbeat, London’s Burning, The Bill, Grange Hill, Nobody Here Knows and Sorry Sarah, the final two playing the lead.

Ferris Entertainment also owns two acting colleges Nutopia Actors Studio, London, and Peter Ferris Actors' Studio, Cardiff with the courses delivered designed by Peter himself.

Having taught for over twenty years, Peter specialises in camera technique, screen acting and audition technique and some of his past pupils include

Peter's own film roles include Shoot to Kill, Skulduggery and You, Me and Marley.

Stage performances include Over the Bridge, Rough Beginnings and Too Late To Talk To Billy.

In the latter only two actors have ever played the lead role of Billy, Peter and a lesser known actor named Kenneth Branagh!

Peter has appeared in the lead role in commercials for Harp Lager, Knorr Products, All Aboard and Vodafone (with Kyle MacLachlan, Desperate Houswives).

As a Voice Artist, Peter voiced the characters of the Rapping Cockroaches in Felix, an animated feature film for Universal Pictures, which was number one at the box office in Germany beating The Aviator.

Peter has performed in two Rock and Roll theatre shows: Imagine and Sgt. Peppers Magical Mystery Trip, on both occasions portraying the role of George Harrison singing and playing guitar on more than seventy Beatles songs per show.

The band headlined The Independence Day Show in Lubbock Texas in front of 110,000 people!
